Visitation to 305 on 12 January 2006

The new RWM's first visitation was to Lodge Woodhall St Johns No 305 and attracted a large delegation of 25 Brethren including the RWM of Lodge Motherwell Caledonian No 1228 and a PM who we had not seen for some time. The RWM and his degree team conferred the Second Degree on a very attentive candidate from 305. For his efforts the RWM received Honorary membership of 305 for which he thanked the Lodge and we enjoyed 305's hospitality -  Scotch pie and baked beans and returned home in good spirits.

Visitation to 187 on 16 February 2006

A deputation of eighteen members of 919 further augmented by the RWM and two PMs of Lodge Salfire No 1505 attended our visitation to Lodge St John Carluke No 187. We were very late in being received into the lodge and the degree which was a third did not start till 9 o'clock. The regular third degree team conferred an excellent degree on an attentive candidate for which they received the applause of the assembled brethren.

We then had a short harmony as the meeting did not finish till quarter to eleven

Visitation to 1096 on 28 February 2006

A deputation of twenty two brethren including seven from Lodge Woodhall St Johns No 305 and headed by the RWM attended our visitation to Lodge Murdostoun Castle No 1096 on a bitterly cold night. There was a problem with parking in the church car park next door so the meeting was slightly delayed by brethren having to move their cars.

The degree was a third degree well conferred by the PMs and office bearers of 919 on a well prepared and knowledgeable candidate. At the end of the degree the RWM received honorary membership of 1096 for which he thanked the Brethren.

We then enjoyed an excellent harmony with our friends from 1096..

Visitation to 236 on 13 March 2006

A deputation of thirteen intrepid brethren, headed by the RWM made their way to Forth on a bitterly cold March night with snow forecast to attend our visitation to Lodge Wilsontown Ironworks St Johns Lodge No 236 . This was 919's first visit to Forth and hopefully the first of many.

The degree was a second degree ably conferred by the RWM and office bearers of 919 and well received by the candidate and all those present..

We then enjoyed an excellent harmony with our friends from 236..

Visitation to 31 on 16 March 2006

A deputation of eighteen brethren including the RWM of Lodge Murdostoun Castle No 1096 and our newest honorary member, the RWM of The Operative Lodge of Airdrie No 203, attended our visitation to Lodge St Mary Coltness No 31 on another bitterly cold night.

The degree was a second degree well conferred by the RWM and office bearers of 919 on two enthusiastic and attentive candidates. At the end of the degree the RWM received honorary membership of 31 for which he thanked the Brethren.

We then enjoyed an excellent harmony with our friends from 31.

Visitation to 203 on 24 May 2006

A deputation of 23 brethren headed by the RWM and including the RWM of Lodge St Mary Coltness No 31, the RWM of Lodge Caldercruix St John No 1314, the RWM of Lodge Regal No 1422, a PM from Lodge Ancient Stirling No 30 and a PM from Lodge Airdrie St John No 166 made their way to the Operative Lodge of Airdrie No 203 for our annual visitation.

The degree was a third degree ably conferred by the RWM and office bearers of 919. Unusually these days there were two candidates who were both engrossed in the degree and seemed to absorb all that was happening. Having two candidates seemed to affect the degree team and there was some confusion at various points. However the degree was  well received by all those present. The vote of thanks was given by the RWM of Lodge Whifflett St John No 963 who congratulated the RWM and office bearers of 919 and our RWM suitably replied.

We then enjoyed  the hospitality and company of our friends from 203.

Visitation to 1228 on 2 October 2006

A deputation of 17 brethren headed by the RWM and including the RWM and another brother of Lodge Livingstone  St Andrew No 573 made their way to Lodge Motherwell Caledonian No 1228 for our annual visitation. After making the exhausting climb up to the Lodge room the brethren took a wee while to regain their breath before being received into the lodge.

The degree was an exemplification of a second degree ably conferred by the RWM and office bearers of 919 on a PM of 1228. As usual in an exemplification, the degree work was not as serious as it is when there is a candidate involved. The RWM then received honorary membership of 1228 for which he thanked the lodge and the brethren in the deputation.

We then enjoyed  the hospitality and company of our friends from 1228.
